Leadership work is personal work. I bring decades of experience advising leaders and teams, paired with a firsthand understanding of what it actually takes to navigate disruption, whether that disruption shows up in a boardroom or a diagnosis.

Executive Coaching
Leadership Begins Within
The Process
Dr. Mary Key is a trusted guide to leaders and organizations facing change, challenge, and uncertainty. Our tailored approach strengthens leadership effectiveness by deepening interpersonal skills, addressing behaviors that may limit performance, and building on each leader's core strengths. Our proven coaching process includes:

1
ASSESMENT
We begin by taking an honest look at where you
are now and where you
want to be. This includes understanding your strengths, challenges, leadership style, current circumstances, and the changes you choose to make.
2
GOAL-SETTING
Next, we clarify your priorities and define what success will look like. Together, we identify the goals that matter most and establish practical criteria for measuring progress.
3
TAKING ACTION
With clear goals in place, we create a customized development plan. Coaching, tools, exercises, and real-world application help you practice new behaviors, work through obstacles, and turn insight into action.
4
TRACKING RESULTS
Throughout the engagement, we review progress and measure outcomes against the goals established at the beginning. We identify what is working, make adjustments where needed, and reinforce changes that support lasting growth.
I offer individual and team leadership coaching, delivered virtually, in person, or in combination, for leaders across industries including technology, healthcare, finance, government, and manufacturing. Fee structures involve a variety of variables and are discussed individually with each client.

FAQ's
IS THERE A MINIMUM GROUP SIZE FOR A FACILITATION ENGAGEMENT?
No. I work with small project teams, executive leadership teams, boards, and groups of more than 100 participants. The format is designed around the purpose of the engagement rather than the number of people attending.
WHAT TYPES OF ENGAGEMENTS DO YOU FACILITATE?
Engagements may include strategic planning, executive and board retreats, team development, leadership alignment, trust building, succession planning, and conversations during periods of significant change.
WHO DO YOU COACH?
I primarily coach executives, senior leaders, emerging leaders, and professionals preparing for greater responsibility or navigating an important transition.
IS COACHING CONFIDENTIAL?
Yes. Confidentiality is essential to the coaching relationship. Expectations and boundaries are discussed at the beginning of every engagement, including arrangements in which an organization sponsors the coaching.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
The first step is a conversation. We will discuss what you are facing, what you hope to accomplish, and whether my experience is a good match for your needs.
